8th European Breast Cancer Conference

The 8th European Breast Cancer Conference was a joint organisation of Europa Donna (the European Breast Cancer Coalition), the EORTC Breast Cancer Group (EBCG) and the European Society of Mastology (EUSOMA). As part of a biennial series of pioneering meetings, the eighth EBCC meeting was devoted to present, educate on, and debate the most up-to-date developments, topics and ideas within the field of breast cancer.

The meeting discussed the advances in the rapid translation of clinical research into clinical practice, encouraged the integration and coordinated organisation of treatment modalities, and encouraged patient representatives, clinicians, health professionals and scientists to continue working together towards delivering equal access and optimal care for breast cancer patients.
